Family-owned and operated, Dearborn Steel Express is an asset-based company headquartered in Michigan. We are plated to operate in all of the 48 contiguous states and Canada, and frequently deliver throughout the United States. Regionally we are focused in Michigan, Indiana, Illinois, Ohio and Ontario, Canada.
Steel may be in our name, but at ‘Express’ we are experienced in transporting all varieties of metals, as well as just about anything that can safely fit onto one of our heavy haul, multi-axle flatbed trailers.
Dearborn Steel Express provides heavy haul, multi-axle flatbed transportation services for industries including steel, base metals, building materials, machinery and beyond. Our thirty year experience has us moving items ranging from all shapes of metal to miniature golf courses and Storage Pods.
While our customer base consists of steel producers, steel processors, OEMs, steel manufacturers and service centers, we also cater to tool makers and suppliers, the construction industry, as well as large and small companies across the country.
Our team at Dearborn Steel Express loves what we do and takes great pride in providing the highest level of service achievable.
With nearly three decades of experience, Dearborn Steel Express has always been committed to the responsibility of transporting and delivering safely, timely, accurately and consistently top-quality service to our customers. These core values and beliefs drive everything we do.
Preferring the term partner, rather than supplier, Dearborn Steel Express is continually striving to exceed the expectations of our partners. Never willing to settle for “good enough” or just “ok”, we are always seeking new ways to improve our service. Doing this enables us to best serve those who rely upon us to move product seamlessly through their supply chain.
Our in-house team of mechanical experts works diligently to maintain our equipment and keep on-the-road breakdowns to a bare minimum. Trucking equipment operating for Dearborn Steel Express is inspected by objective outside firms at a frequency far in excess of the minimums established by the DOT.
